Bread Machine Rolls
I found this recipe for Bread Machine Rolls over at Money Saving Mom a while back! Since the bread machine does all the work, you can pull this recipe together in a snap.
I do have to admit that I didn’t measure the yeast. I mean, surely one of the packets is close to 2 1/4 teaspoons, right? It may have been because of this that the rolls didn’t rise after I formed them into balls, but they still tasted great!
Bread Machine Rolls
1 cup warm milk (70-80 degrees)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour
2 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
Place ingredients in your bread machine in the order given by your instructions (mine is liquids, dry and then yeast). Run on dough cycle. When the dough is complete, divide and shape into balls (20-24 for smaller rolls and 10-12 for larger rolls).
Place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown.
I put some of these puppies in the freezer so we can enjoy them later too!
