Homemade Shower Cleaner

homemade_shower_cleaner

I found this recipe for homemade shower cleaner over at Simple Organized Living. Not only is this super easy to make but it doesn’t contain all of the harsh chemicals that so many other cleaners contain. I’ve used Scrubbing Bubbles for year so I wasn’t sure how this was going to match up! I’m happy to report that it worked wonderfully and even removed some hard water stains!

I followed Andrea’s recipe but I think I’m going to cut back on the amount of soap that I add next time because it was super soapy (I know, I can’t believe I just said that it has too much soap!) The recipe below is what I’m going to try next time I make it!

Depending on the size of your spray bottle, you may need to adjust the ounces used.

Homemade Shower Cleaner

  1. Pour 15 ounces of vinegar into your spray bottle and heat up in the microwave. (I’m not sure what this does but you only have to heat it the first time.)
  2. Pour 5 ounces of soap into your bottle, place the top on and shake gently.

Start cleaning. Yes, it’s that simple!
